The Quayside Choir is delighted to invite you and your family to an afternoon concert, with spectacular tea and cakes, a grand raffle and a programme of light repertoire from folk and spiritual songs through to film and musical theatre. Join us, and enjoy a great afternoon’s entertainment.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, with free entry for under 16s, to include amazing refreshments!

The Quayside Choir is joining forces with Wareham Choral Society to give two performances of the highly popular, emotive and dramatic Requiem by W A Mozart, completed by his student, Franz Sussmayr. The unique circumstances surrounding the composition of the Requiem are remarkable and have formed the basis of many theories and much speculation. However, all this conjecture fades into insignificance next to the overwhelming appreciation of the masterpiece that this music represents.

Saturday 21^st June 2025 – our summer concert, for all the family, 3pm – 5pm, with spectacular tea and cakes! Further details in due course.

Mozart Requiem – Saturday 5^th April 2025 – 7.30pm. Venue to be announced. This concert features the combined voices of The Quayside Choir and Wareham Choral Society and will take place in Poole on 5^th April, and in Wareham on 29^th March 2025. Further details to be announced.

Sunday 15^th December 2024 – we will be singing carols at Spetisbury Railway Station at 12 noon. See the poster for further details.

Saturday 7^th December 2024 7.30pm – St Mary’s RC Church, Wimborne Road, BH15 2EG – our annual Christmas concert with a varied programme of seasonal pieces both sacred and celebratory, with several carols for audience participation. With excellent seasonal refreshments, a fantastic Christmas raffle, and the Aliquando Wind Trio to entertain you in the interval, we promise you a very generous serving of Christmas fare. Tickets are priced at £12 and will be available in advance or on the door (cash or card only, please).

Sunday 1^st December 2024 – Upton Country Park Christmas Craft Market – we will be singing seasonal carols and songs at the house between 2pm and 4pm and would love to see you there as we move into the Christmas season.

Saturday 23^rd November 7.30pm 2024 – we will be combining with The Christchurch Singers for a concert featuring Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’, with supporting pieces by Pitoni, Parry, Goodall, Bruckner and others. The concert will be at St Francis of Assisi Church, BH8 9SH. See the poster for details.

Join The Quayside Choir and guests for an evening of choral and instrumental music from the movies, television, and stage. Our programme is a selection of music featured in the world of entertainment as we move through many genres, including classics from Bach and Mozart, musical theatre favourites, an opera chorus or two and movie magic from Howard Shore, Ennio Morricone and John Williams.

The Quayside Choir is delighted to have been invited to sing at Kingston Lacy during the festive season. The house and gardens are going to be suitably decorated and lit for a beautiful seasonal experience.
The choir will be one of many local groups providing entertainment for visitors during this time. We will be singing outside on Saturday 2nd December at 4.00-4.15 pm and 4.30-4.45 pm. Come along, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the music.
